Anyone Else Struggling With Clients Changing Their Mind Mid Project?
We recently finished a warehouse expansion project that should have been straightforward but the client kept requesting layout changes after work had already started. Our site team adjusted everything as best as possible but now there is a disagreement over extra costs and delayed completion dates. One senior engineer suggested we start preparing construction claims in case negotiations fail. I honestly did not expect things to become this complicated over small revisions. Has anyone here dealt with a similar issue where project changes slowly turned into a serious payment dispute?
