F430 F1 box is finally acting up and the dealer quote made me physically ill

I knew this day was coming honestly because I've had my 2006 F430 for about three years now and the F1 gearbox has been getting progressively lazier on the downshifts and occasionally it just refuses to go into reverse unless I cycle the ignition a few times and do a little dance that probably looks insane to anyone watching, and I finally bit the bullet and took it to the main dealer in Dubai for a proper diagnostic expecting maybe a few thousand dirhams to sort out a clutch position sensor or something, but they came back with a quote to replace the entire F1 actuator assembly and the clutch and the flywheel and I swear I almost passed out in that fancy waiting room with the complimentary espresso. A guy I know from a local supercar group on WhatsApp mentioned there's a workshop that has proper Ferrari Transmission Specialists Sharjah who actually rebuild the electrohydraulic units and can replace just the worn pump motor bearings or the clutch bearing without insisting on a whole new assembly from Italy that costs more than a decent used car, and he swears by them for his 360 and says his shifts are smoother now than when he bought the car. I've got the car sitting in my garage near Al Khan right now and I'm genuinely torn between selling it as is and taking the loss or flat bedding it over to this place in Industrial Area and hoping they can work some magic without sending me into bankruptcy, so I'm just wondering if anyone else on this forum has actually trusted a non dealership shop with their Ferrari's gearbox in this part of the world and lived to tell the tale without ending up with a very expensive paperweight that won't shift out of neutral.
