Sand dune driving took a toll – time for a proper 4x4 system check

So after a fantastic but pretty rough weekend out in Sweihan with some friends, I'm starting to think my Patrol needs a bit of TLC. We were doing some decent dune climbs and a few of the guys were pushing pretty hard, and I noticed toward the end of the second day that the rear diff was making a low whining noise that I don't remember hearing before. Nothing crazy loud, but definitely noticeable when cruising at around 80 or 90 km/h on the way back. I've also been feeling a bit of a shudder when engaging 4L, almost like it's hesitating a fraction longer than it used to. I know these Patrols are tough, but the sand takes its toll on everything eventually, especially the diffs and transfer case if you're pushing them hard. I've been looking around for a shop that really understands these cars and does proper inspections, not just a quick fluid change and call it done. Found a place that specializes in Nissan Patrol differential and 4x4 system service Abu Dhabi and from what I can tell they actually know what to look for after heavy dune driving. I'm hoping it's just old fluid and maybe a bit of wear on the breathers, but I'd rather have someone experienced give it a thorough look before I head out again and end up damaging something serious. Anyone here taken their Patrol in for a full 4x4 system check after a desert trip and can share what they usually go through? Trying to figure out if I should book it in before the next trip or if I'm just being paranoid about normal noises.
