Has anyone ever felt like one deadline turned into a complete disaster?

Everything seemed fine a few weeks ago but then several assignments ended up being due around the same time. I kept putting one of them off because I thought I had plenty of time left. Now the deadline is only a few days away and I am nowhere near finished. Last night I was sitting in the library feeling stressed and frustrated when I caught myself thinking about whether I should buy assignment online just to get out of this mess. I know that reaction came from panic more than anything else. Has anyone else ever felt this overwhelmed by deadlines?
